EFT -  EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE

EFT means "Emotional Freedom Techniques" and is a powerful self-help method based on research showing that emotional trauma contributes greatly to disease. Clinical trials have shown that EFT tapping is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress.

Once the distress is reduced or removed, the body can often rebalance itself, and accelerate healing.

EFT uses elements of Cognitive Therapy and Exposure Therapy, and combines them with Acupressure, in the form of fingertip tapping on 12 acupuncture points. Over 100 papers published in peer-reviewed medical and psychology journals, including dozens of clinical trials, have demonstrated that EFT is effective for phobias, anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, pain, and other problems.

MENTAL IMAGERY- VISUALISATION

'Our inner images reflect our beliefs about the world. These beliefs spark the birth of our outer reality. The images that we conceive and perceive internally manifest, or are birthed, externally in the world. As you practice imagery you can experiment and see if this is true for you.

 imagery is the mind thinking in pictures. The mind and physical body are mirror images of each other; they are two sides of the same coin. What happens in one happens in the other. If you see yourself healing in your mind’s eye, the healing takes place in your physical body as well.

Like any medicine, you need to repeat it generally three times a day for 21 days. Twenty–one days is a natural cycle of the human body. Research has shown that it takes up to 21 days to break a habit.'

HYPNOSIS

Hypnosis is a highly focused state of mind where we can bypass the conscious mind and access the subconscious mind, and this is where the magic happened.

Contrary to what most people think, the subconscious is incredibly more powerful than the conscious mind, and by tapping into the power of the subconscious, we can reprogram ourselves and be free from what was causing us to feel “stuck” in life. 

it’s a totally natural state that e have all experienced for example when you get so absorbed in an activity that you lose track of time and you zone out from what is happening around you.

 I will use formal hypnosis less and less in my practice and I incorporate conversational hypnosis to facilitate mind shifts within the other modalities.
